Rapist and Robber – Captured!

Police tracked down and arrested Dion McDaniel, 47, on June 14, 2011. He is charged with the robbery and rape of a woman who provided video of him to the media.

This man forced his way into a woman's home on the 900 block of Apgar Street in Oakland. He robbed her, left, then returned and raped her.

The victim was able to get a cell phone photo. She estimated his age to be early 40s.
