Kevin Rogers and two other men were hanging out on the 3500 block of Allendale Ave at 9:50 p.m., Jan. 28, 2010. A blue Dodge Intrepid drove by and opened fire, witnessees later told police. Rogers is dead. The street shrine appeared the next morning. According to neighbors, the Rogers team had only been out there "two or three days."

After three days, the street "shrine" had accumulated liquor bottles, graffiti on the wall of the corner market, and a note reading, "Don't forget, paybac is on!"
