The Blight of Gutter Rap

This poster was illegally stapled onto telephone poles along High Street. The producer made proud use of the City logo for an album with titles like "On My Mama" by Dellums' inaugural celebrity Mistah F.A.B., "This Sh-- Right Here," and "Pimps, Playas, Hustlas." One track is by Too Short, the woman-demeaning gutter rapper who is welcomed at Youth UpRising, an out-of-control social agency. Why did the Oakland city council give this agency $1.5 million, and why aren't councilmembers reviewing the five-year grant?
